Delivery and Returns

Delivery

I ship within the UK. If you are a customer outside of the UK, please do get in touch via email at brigitte@brigittegirling.co.uk so I can calculate costs and arrange delivery. I use a tracked delivery service. Orders within the UK are normally delivered 7-10 working days after dispatch. I do wrap and package each painting myself so please bear with me because this can take a few days to organise before dispatch. I will always make every effort to keep you updated on when you can expect your painting. Deliveries to other parts of the world will take a little longer.

Please be aware that overseas shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense.

Returns

I hope you will love the piece of art that you have chosen. If however, you do change your mind, please email me at brigitte@brigittegirling.co.uk within 14 days to discuss arrangements to return the art to me in its original state (with original frame if it was bought framed) for a full refund. You, the customer are responsible for the cost of returning artwork via a reputable, tracked delivery method.

I am sorry that I cannot accept returns of any original art from outside the UK at the moment.

The artwork is packed very carefully to avoid any potential damage in transit. However, if your painting arrives damaged, please take a clear photograph of the damaged packaging AND the damage to the art itself and email me within 3 days.

Framing

PLEASE NOTE: All artworks are sold unframed unless stated otherwise in the painting description, but please do ask if you would like help with framing ideas. Alternatively I can organise framing for you. However, framing will of course, increase the shipping price because of the extra weight.

Colour

PLEASE NOTE: Although I take great care to present my artwork digitally in a way that accurately shows the colours, viewing on different screens and devices, can result in a slight difference between the actual artwork and any online photograph. No digital reproduction can quite capture the pigments in a painting.
